Business Conditions Orders - Business Conditions Survey

Definition: This is a quarterly survey of the manufacturing sector that asks respondents to rate expected volume of production, production impediments, finished product inventories and employment prospects over the next three months.

Additional Info: The survey is conducted in January, April, July and October. The results are weighted by the firms size so larger manufacturers have a larger impact on the data than smaller firms.
