Bank of Canada (BOC) Business Outlook Survey

 

Definition: The Bank of Canada (BOC) uses this quarterly survey of 100 firms to measure general business conditions. The survey asks firms to rate the past 12 months in terms of sales growth, employment, inflation, investment in machinery and ability to meet demand. The 100 firms are selected in accordance with the Canadian GDP.
