Definition: Measures
the rate of inflation experienced by corporations. This data
is based on a fixed baskets of goods and services and is calculated
on a month-by-month basis.

Info: If corporations are experiencing an increased
rate of inflation then they are likely to pass this on to the consumer
in the form of price increases. Thus, stimulating inflation at
the consumer-level.
