Gross Domestic Product (GDP) Advance

Definition: Gross Domestic Product (GDP) measures the value of all goods and services produced by an economy. The GDP Advance is the first of three GDP releases from the USA and represents annualised, quarterly data.

Additional Info: GDP Advance is released roughly 30 days after the end of the financial quarter. Because it is the first GDP reading for the preceding quarter it tends to draw the most interest from traders and economists. In the next few weeks the Preliminary GDP and GDP Final will be released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
