Information and Forschung (IFO) Business Climate Index is based
on a monthly survey of firms from manufacturing, retail, wholesale
and construction. It asks respondents to give their opinion on
current business environment and their predictions for the next
six months. |

The
indicator can read positive or negative. A positive reading implies
an optimistic outlook and vice versa for a negative reading. |
