Inflation Expectations is compiled by measuring the expectations
of a selection of business managers. Respondents are asked for
their predictions for CPI (Consumer Price Index) data over the
next two years.

it is believed that business managers are likely to invest more
in business expansion if they are optimistic about the economy,
inflation and consumer spending over the years to come.
