Slippage
The difference between the price at which you set your order for execution and the price at which you are actually filled.
This often occurs when traders enter a market order or a stop/ limit order is filled at a time of strong market volatility. It can also happen when a trader sets a very large order and it cannot be executed at the desired price because there aren’t enough shares available.
