BOE Inflation Letter - BOE Governor Mervyn King is required to write an open letter to the UK Government should CPI YoY come in at 3.1% or higher. The BOE is required to take this action if inflation stands more than 1 percentage point above its 2.0% target. Should CPI come in at 3.0% or lower this letter will not be required.
