SNB Chairman Roth Speaks - Roth is due to speak on the 3rd
stop of the Swiss "Icon Roadshow Euro 2008" tour in Frankfurt.
The tour is part of the build up to the Euro 2008 football
championships to be held in Switzerland and Austria.
Roth will deliver a speech entitled "Swiss Perspectives
and Global Affairs".
BOJ Governor Fukui Speaks - Bank of Japan Governor Fukui will give his farewell/ retirement
press conference in Tokyo.
Although many traders will take note of his final remarks,
nothing new regarding the Japanese economy is likely to be
released.

Gieve Speaks - Sir John
Gieve is set to be the keynote speaker at the Confederation
of British Industry (CBI) East of England Annual Lunch in
Newmarket.
Gieve will address the recent turmoil in the financial markets
and future prospects for the UK economy. The event is sponsored
by Barclays Bank.

Meetings with Commercial Banks - The Bank of England is due to hold a series of meetings
with UK commercial banks with regards to the current credit
market conditions and investment banking climate. The BOE
will release details of these meetings at their conclusion.
